Gen 7 Classroom

The Gen7 is a high performance, factory built classroom developed by American Modular Systems. ZCS served as sustainability consultant to integrate CHPS (Collaborative High Performance Schools) standards into the design. ZCS also managed the designation of the Gen7 as the first classroom to earn “CHPS PreFAB” status. Under this designation, Gen7 was verified as meeting CHPS standards related to indoor environmental quality, energy efficiency, materials, waste management, and other sustainable attributes that help students learn and thrive while lowering operating costs. 

ZCS also managed the LEED Gold certification of both the Gen7 Brentwood School classroom building and the Manteca Unified School District Regional Environmental Studies Center, or RESC.
