Glen is the Senior Project Manager for LEED, CHPS (Collaborative for High Performance Schools), Green Globes, and DoD Guiding Principles projects, and a LEED for Homes Green Rater, providing third-party project verification. Previously, Glen served as Senior Project Manager at ZCS’ predecessor Zinner Consultants, working on a variety of public, institutional, and commercial projects, and, for over fifteen years, concurrently ran a sole proprietorship as the first LEED for Homes Green Rater in Southern California. These separate efforts have been brought together under ZCS.

Glen advised the Green Business Certification Institute (GBCI) on the development of the LEED for Homes Green Rater credential program. He was one of several professionals first selected by the USGBC to support the LEED for Homes program outside of the United States. His achievements include the first residential mid-rise development certification, the first multi-unit modular certification and the first LEED v4 residential certification. He has worked on multiple affordable housing projects targeting Los Angeles’ unhoused population and net-zero energy projects. Glen was instrumental in pioneering the adaptive reuse of commercial scale projects for affordable residential reuse.

His work has received several awards and been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Council and the Skid Row Housing Trust. Glen served as a consultant to the environmental non-profit Global Green USA, focusing on Los Angeles Unified School District CHPS Projects and a national assessment of state and local green building affordable housing requirements. He was a contributor to the Home Depot Foundation-funded publication “Greening Affordable Housing” and the United Nations Environment Program’s Sustainable Building and Construction Initiative. Prior to that he served as a manager for federal facility environmental restoration projects throughout the US and overseas.
